Juan Soto Rejects $440M Nets Offer Available For Trade Per Report
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, Juan Soto, possibly the
best hitter in baseball, is all accessible for exchange.
The 23-year-old All-Star outfielder reportedly turned down a 15-year-
old, $440 million offer from the Nationals, making him the most
generously compensated player in MLB history. Washington
currently plans to look into exchange offers, including Soto, before the exchange cutoff time of August 2.
Soto and National have gone this way and as an extension of a deal,
the recent $440 million expansion is the third such proposal made
by the association. According to Rosenthal, the proposal did not
include any approved cash and would have probably saved young
talent in the nation's capital until the end of their business.
Furthermore, National Senior Supervisor Mike Rizzo was bullied
when some information was received about Soto's possible
exchange. He has completely brushed off any hypotheses about the
condition, with his most recent rejection coming on June 1.
