Popular legend: Kunde back on Chelsea's radar
According to the Evening Standard, their interest for Manchester
City's Nathan Acke will see Chelsea resurrect their advantage in Sevilla safeguard Jules Conde.
Chelsea will re-approach the LaLiga side for Kounda, with City
reluctant to match City's £50million sticker price for the 27-year-old AK.
As Thomas Tuchel hopes to rebuild his side's defenses this late
spring move window after the takeoffs of Antonio Rudiger and
Andreas Christensen, Kaunde was a reinforcement option for new
Chelsea boss Todd Boehli as Matthijs de Ligt, Kalido Koulibaly and AK were sought after.
Following Koulibaly's appearance in a €40m move from Napoli,
Chelsea are currently set to fight Barcelona for 23-year-old Kounde,
who is believed to be awarded £56m. Catalan side France leads the
race for Global, who showed up for Sevilla last season,
after apparently agreeing to private terms.
